Owen Michael Jaakkola joined our family 8 short weeks ago. I have loved being home enjoying mommyhood once again. This time leave was different, Zachary started all day pre-K a week into my leave, suddenly he is a big boy. School started out a little rough, he was jealous and angry to be the only one going to school while I stayed home and played with the babies all day. If he only knew how little of my day really was devoted to playing with my babies.
Starting next week I will be working full-time again and leaving my babies in the capable care of their daddy and our daycare provider. I am hoping to get things together this week so next week is a smooth transition. I started making a list of who needs what where and all the things that need to be done...oh and by the way, don't forget that we still need to get our pumpkins, celebrate a nephews birthday, a friends retirement and relax at some point before Monday. I am overwhelmed just thinking of diapers, milk, bottles, extra clothes, schedules, routines, meals...OH MY!
