Momma's beautiful ring...

Zachary and I were shopping a week ago, he picked out a beautiful costume ring for a friend of ours who was having a party. I told him the ring was too big for her little finger, he didn't believe me so I put the ring on my finger to show him. "Oh Momma, that ring is so beautiful". Thinking nothing more of the ring I continued to look at necklaces and such while Zachary continued to look at all the "beautiful treasures" on the discount table. A few minutes later with a small (ring) box in hand Zachary approached, "Momma I found a beautiful surprise for you. I can't show you it is a present. I need to by this for you." I checked the price ($6.70) and agreed. He then said, "Momma I don't have my wawet, can you give me some money so I can buy your beautiful present?" I did...the pride in his own bag and "cet" (receipt) was so adorable. Zachary waiting until Mother's Day (not very patiently) to give me the ring - that I have not been able to take off without hearing, "Momma where is your beautiful ring?"
